How to get UA Logos:


UA Logos for Printed Publications


Graphic standards and uses for UA logos are set by The University of Arizona Brand Identity Program in the Office of External Relations. The logos are available to UA employees on the Red Bar Café. The Red Bar Café is password protected: You must enter your UA net ID and password to obtain logo artwork. If you would like to use the UA line logo, please contact Glen McCreedy, gmcc@email.arizona.edu. If you have questions, there are Brand Advocates in every college and most major program areas. UA Logos for the Web


Standards and uses for UA logos on the web are set by The University of Arizona Web team and the Office of External Relations. Logos for use on UA college, departmental, service unit and program web sites are included as part of the UA Web Banner Policy. Additional logos can be obtained from the UA Logos for Official UA Websites link. Logos for UA students, employees and alumni may request UA logos for use on personal homepages at the UA Logos for Personal Websites link. You must enter your UA net ID and password to obtain logo artwork. UA Logos for Commercial Use


If you are applying a UA logo or trademark to a product you will first need approval from The University of Arizona's Office of Trademarks and Licensing. This applies to items that will be sold and items that will be given away. In some instances, use of the UA logos and/or trademarks will be subject to a royalty fee, but there are exceptions. In all cases, art approval for using UA logos on a product is required. This insures the proper use of the UA trademarks and logos. Approval requests for commercial use of the UA logos and complete guidelines are on the Trademarks & Licensing website. The block 'A' can only appear by itself if The University of Arizona is spelled out somewhere on the cover as well. There are four color choices for the 'A' -- UA red, blue, red and blue or black.


Vertical Logo:

There are four color choices for the 'A' -- UA red, blue, red and blue or black, and 2 variations -- one with the tagline and one without.


Horizontal Logo:

Restricted use Logos:

UA Seal:

On April 4, 1915, the official seal of the University of Arizona was adopted. With minor variations, that seal is used today. The University seal is reserved for formal uses such as diplomas and official documents. It can only be used with permission from the President's Office. The seal should be used in red and blue, black and white, or metallic gold. An embossing stamp is available for embossing UA seals on official documents and certificates. This is done by the Office of the President. Call 621-5511 for more information.

Saguaro Logo:

The Saguaro cactus logo may be used only by the department of Intercollegiate Athletics. It is not authorized for use by other units of the University. For more information, please visit Trademarks & Licensing.

The wildcat head may be used for informal purposes in brochures, posters, cards, etc.


AHSC Logo:
